Discovery surveys give organizations a chance to identify and implement corrective actions before deficiencies are identified by federal or state surveyors. These are provided as part of your accreditation preparation.

Healthcare facilities may be surveyed at any given time by federal or state authorities. Surveys are often unannounced. Organizations should always maintain a state of readiness regardless of when a survey may be conducted.
